We’re saying yes in one of the most beautiful churches in the Lisbon region – the Igreja Matriz de Oeiras, a baroque jewel nestled in the historic heart of Oeiras. Built in the 18th century under the guidance of the Marquis of Pombal, this stunning church features twin bell towers, a richly detailed façade, and peaceful surroundings just a short walk from the sea.

This is a place full of soul, history, and beauty – and we can’t wait to celebrate our love with you here.

As the sun melts into the Atlantic and the cliffs of Guincho glow golden, we invite you to join us for an unforgettable night during which history, nature, and celebration come together in the most breathtaking way.

Forte da Crismina, perched above the ocean western end of Europe, has stood watch over the Portuguese coast since 1762. Once a guardian of the windswept shoreline, it now becomes the setting for a different kind of story – ours. And we can’t wait to write the next chapter with you.

💒 Ceremony

4:00 PM – Igreja Matriz de Oeiras

Join us in one of Lisbon’s most beautiful baroque churches for a heartfelt ceremony lasting about 40 minutes.

Please arrive no later than 4:00 PM – the ceremony will begin promptly and doors will close at the start.

👶 Children are warmly welcome to attend the ceremony.

🥂 Cheers Outside the Church

After the ceremony, we’ll gather just outside for a celebratory toast, a few surprise melodies, and lots of happy hugs.

🚗 Coastal Drive to Forte da Crismina

Hop in our shuttle or catch a Uber or Bolt for a scenic 20/30 minute ride along the Portuguese coast. The views are unforgettable!

🌅 Sunset Cocktails & Views

From 6:00 PM – Forte da Crismina

As the sun melts into the Atlantic, join us for cocktails, finger food, and chill-out music with breathtaking views over the ocean.

This golden hour moment is for soaking it all in – and celebrating together!

👧 Children are welcome to join us for this part of the evening.

🏰 Dinner at Forte da Crismina

8:30 PM – Seated Dinner

After sunset, we'll head inside the Forte for a candlelit dinner filled with laugher, drinks (lots of them!), and delicious food before the night unfolds.

🚫 Please note: Dinner and the party that follows will be in a festive, adults-only setting. We kindly ask that children do not attend from this point onward – thank you for understanding. We can coordinate transport for children attending earlier.

💃 Dancing Until Dawn

From Midnight – Until the Last Drop

After dinner, we’ll dim the lights, turn up the music, and hit the bar – and the dance floor!

With cocktails flowing, champagne popping, and all inhibitions left at the table. Whether you’re a dancefloor legend or just here for the tequila, this is your moment to put skin in the game.

We’ll party deep into the night (yes, really — until 4:00 AM), with the Atlantic beside us and your next drink never far from reach.

Relive our Civil Wedding

On July 5th, 2024, we had our civil ceremony at Schloss Oberschleißheim – a dreamy Bavarian palace just outside Munich.

It was an intimate day full of sunshine, happy tears, and “something blue” – the perfect beginning to our wedding story.

In true summer wedding fashion, we somehow managed to fit both semi-finals of the Euro 2024 in between wedding events and watch Germany lose from a packed biergarten between lunch and dinner… and later that evening, Portugal followed suit.

Luckily, there were plenty of cocktails (and Schnaps!) to wash the sorrows away. 🍻🇩🇪🇵🇹

We’ve both spent the past years working in the venture capital world, where a shared curiosity, drive, and love for bold ideas brought us together.

Rodrigo is an exceptional cook who somehow turns even the simplest evenings into little celebrations.

And Caro? She’s the ultimate planner and surprise-creator – always dreaming up spontaneous road trips, concert nights, picnics, or a day at the beach when it's least expected.

We both love hosting our friends, filling our home with people, playlists, and homemade pasta. We celebrate everything – and when there’s nothing to celebrate, we invent a reason.

Together, we’ve built a life that feels like us: full of heart, full of joy, and just getting started.

And through it all, one thing has always been true – we are surrounded by the most incredible friends and family. We love you so much, and we’re endlessly grateful that you’re part of our lives and our story.
